In its continuous support for academic excellence and scientific leadership, Al Hussein Fund for Excellence announced its support for the honoring ceremony of the top graduates of the 45th batch from Yarmouk University for the academic year 2023-2024, which took place on August 20, 2024. The ceremony witnessed the recognition of 130 graduates holding various degrees, including PhDs, master's degrees, high diplomas, and bachelor's degrees.

The ceremony was sponsored by Dr. Adel Al-Sharkas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al- Hussein Fund and Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, in the presence of Dr. Islam Massad, President of Yarmouk University. It was organized by the Irbid Alumni Club at the Kindi Auditorium. The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Isam l Azzam- Chairman of the YU Alumni Club, Dr. Ali Yaghi - HFE General Manager; in addition to YU staff and adminstrative members. 

In his speech, Al-Sharkas emphasized that today we celebrate a group of outstanding and creative individuals from our homeland, stating that Yarmouk is not merely an educational institution, but a comprehensive system of values, a nurturing environment for talents, a home for knowledge, and a space where scientific creativity flourishes. He expressed pride in being one of its graduates.

He noted that this day is not just about honoring the top students, but also an exceptional day for their parents, whose hearts are filled with pride and joy at their achievements, having been their primary supporters and motivators. Today, they reap the fruits of their efforts in their success and excellence. He praised the role of the faculty and administrative members who equipped these graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the job market.

Addressing the graduates, Al-Sharkas said, "We see in you a conscious and ambitious generation, armed with knowledge and values, ready to transition from education to contributing to society." He emphasized the importance of continuous training and education in this new phase.

The honoring ceremony for the top graduates of the 45th batch from Yarmouk University for the academic year 2023-2024 was supported by Al Hussein Fund for Creativity and Excellence, which is chaired by the Governor of the Central Bank, and has consistently supported academic excellence and scientific leadership across various fields.

Dr. Issam Al-Azzam, President of the Alumni Club, stated that Yarmouk University is one of the leading national institutions contributing to the development of higher education in Jordan, as well as actively serving the local community and positively interacting with its institutions and individuals.

He added that the celebration of honoring the top graduates of the 45th batch is an important annual event that the Alumni Club is keen to organize, in appreciation of the efforts of these students who worked hard and excelled to achieve these remarkable results. Congratulations to our university for influencing our time with competencies that hint at the bright future of Jordan.

At the end of the ceremony, Al-Sharkas, in the presence of Dr. Musa Rababah, Vice President of the university, honored the top graduates of the 45th batch, along with several members of the faculty and administration at the university.
