On February 26, 2025, the spirit of competition and critical thinking filled the halls of Batna Elementary School in Salt, as students from across different schools from Al Balqaa District came together for an exciting chess tournament. The event was sponsored by Al Hussein Fund for Excellence, in collaboration with the Directorate of Education in Al-Salt.

The tournament brought together students from several schools, including Batna, Aira, Al-Balqa, Wadi Al-Salt, Wadi Shuayib, Al-Karama, and Yaffa — each showcasing their young talents and strategic brilliance on the chessboard.

The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Harb Khalaf Al-Hajjaj, Director of Education in Al-Salt, who applauded the efforts and enthusiasm of the young participants.
