Dr. Ali Yaghi, HFE General Manager, met with winners of HFE’s Agriculture and Food Security Awards to discuss support mechanisms for their innovative projects.
The awards, launched in partnership with the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC), aim to advance agricultural technologies, boost food production, and strengthen the Jordan’s food security.
During a ceremony sponsored by the Minister of Agriculture, the winners were honored and awarded the first installment of funding for their projects.
In the meeting held with the HFE team, winners were required to submit an implementation time plan with well-defined milestones to guide projects’ development, with the Fund pledging to cover costs and help transform the innovative ideas into practical projects that enhance food availability and create employment opportunities in this vital sector.
